Individual action of the Key Ingredients - as authenticated in medicinal literature:

• Berberis aquifolium - has the property of softening the pimples and cysts and gently extracting and draining the pus. It also helps in the treatment of dry and rough skin or rashes.
• Calendula off. (Marigold) - is a natural and gentle, mild, soothing, healing and restorative skin conditioner and is effective for a range of skin problems including acne. It reduces inflammation, controls bleeding and soothes acne-affected skin. It reduces oily build-ups, and thus prevents acne formation or acne breakouts. It is high in carotenoids, which help to quickly and efficiently repair skin damage and the effects of aging on the skin. They help to rehydrate the dry skin making it smooth and flexible. Its astringent properties are highly effective for treating wrinkles and scars and skin which is sensitive to sunlight and pollution.
• Carica p. (Papaya) - soothes and hydrates dry, stressed and sensitive skin. Gently but quickly revitalizes skin by dissolving dead surface cells and cleans and refines it by removing the impurities, which block the pores. Very effectively treats chronic skin ulcerations and prevents and treats pre-existing infection, swollen pimples, pus formation, blackheads, whiteheads and other abnormal growths on the skin. • Neem (Azadirachta ind.) - has antibacterial properties which are effective against the bacteria that cause acne. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce inflammation of the skin. It has moisturising properties that are very effective in reducing wrinkles, stretch marks etc.
