1. Laser Hair Reduction

Safe, Effective and virtually painless

Recent advances in laser hair removal technology now make it possible to permanently reduce unwanted body hair, quickly and easily, with proven long-term results.

It is now possible to conveniently obtain the ease, beauty and confidence of smooth, hair free skin through our customized laser hair removal treatment program. Our goal is to provide the most technologically advanced techniques utilizing only the highest quality, state of the art equipment.

The laser is most effective at targeting "actively growing" hairs during treatment. It is during anagen that the hair shaft contains the greatest abundance of melanin, the target of the laser light. Many hair follicles are in their resting or regressive stages at any given time. The length of the growth cycles also vary slightly by body area. Your treatment plan will be customized to obtain optimal results.

Common Questions about Laser Hair Removal

How does laser hair removal work and why is it safe?

We utilize state-of-the-art technology to customize your treatment depending upon your skin type and hair density. Our laser hair removal systems emit a precise beam of pulsating light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where the energy is absorbed by melanin (or pigment) that gives color to the hair shaft. The lasers’ energy is then absorbed by the pigment in the hair and transferred to the surrounding hair follicle.

Who can be treated?

The unique design and long wavelength of our lasers allow the laser to treat patients of all skin tones and types including African American, Asian, Indian, Hispanic, Caucasian, and even patients with a suntan!

What areas can be treated?

Laser hair removal can be performed on almost any area of the body for men and women – from small areas such as your upper lip, underarms, bikini area, chin, neck, and face, to larger areas such as arms, chest, back, and legs.

2. Laser Acne Treatment

Acne is one of the most common and stubborn skin problems. Regardless of skin type or lifestyle, approximately 80% of the population will suffer from acne at some point in their lives. Acne is common in both teens and adults.

Many people find current treatment options for acne either ineffective or they develop problematic side effects. Additionally, the cost and duration of acne treatment with topical medications and oral antibiotics make standard therapy far from ideal.

Clear Acne

Now, you can clear mild to moderate inflammatory acne without side effects, discomfort, photo-sensitivity or downtime. Acne Clearing treatments utilize a high intensity enhanced light source to permeate the tissue to destroy acne bacteria quickly and easily – with no side effects, no downtime, no pain, and without the exposure to antibiotics. This treatment is great for teens and adults and can help heal and clear your face of acne.

We provide you with a skin analysis to help you understand how to achieve healthy, more beautiful skin with Intense Pulse Light Treatments for Mild to Moderate Acne.

About Acne

Acne can affect us at almost any age, typically it begins during adolescence, when hormonal changes cause the enlargement and obstruction of sebaceous glands in the skin. Consequently, many people experience an abnormal proliferation of bacteria, predominantly propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes). This typically causes painful, inflamed lesions that can appear on the face, chest, back, limbs and virtually any other part of the body.

3. Acne scars and pigmentation treatment

What are Acne Scars?

The enlargement and obstruction of sebaceous glands, causing acne, in the skin result in both physical and emotional scars. Marks and pits that are left behind once the acne is cleared are known as acne scars. Acne lesions should not be picked or squeezed by the patient. Squeezing forces infected material deeper into the skin, causing additional inflammation and possible scarring.

What is Pigmentation?

Sometimes your skin may appear darker, patchy or more discolored than normal. It’s commonly caused by factors such as inherited tendencies, repeated unprotected exposure to the sun, use of certain cosmetics, skin allergies and hormonal changes. Such discoloration in the skin is called Hyper Pigmentation

How does one address the skin concerns caused due to Acne Scars and Pigmentation?

Peels are recommended for some, while others may benefit from deeper level of Skin Polishing & Brightening. A combination therapy of peels, microdermabrasion and LASERs may give good results based on the type & extent of the scars & pigmentation.

4 .Chemical peels

Chemical peels use several types of acid solutions to improve and smooth the texture of your facial skin. The acid works by removing damaged outer layers. Chemical peels are among the most popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedures chosen by patients.

Chemical peels vary according to their specific ingredients and strength. The actual depth of the peeling can also depend on other considerations such as how long the solutions remain on the skin and if they are lightly, heavily or vigorously applied. The most commonly performed peel procedures are lightly applied to smooth rough dry skin and aids in control of acne.

Benefits of Chemical Peels

After the top layer of skin is peeled away, new, fresh skin regenerates without imperfections, lines and wrinkles. Deeper chemical peels are an effective treatment for the extreme wrinkling caused by spending too much time in the sun.

Common Questions about Chemical Peel

What are glycolic peels?

Glycolic Peels are made up of A.H.As (alphahydroxy acids) that are found naturally in sugar cane & fruit.

These are natural moisturizing agents, which easily penetrate the skin and can be used as an excellent deep cleansing peel as they increase the skin’s performance by decreasing the build up of dead skin cells thereby allowing fresher skin cells to the surface.

What are the benefits of this treatment?

The best part of the Peels is that they can be done quickly (literally in your lunch time!) and you can resume normal activities immediately.

  • Peels improve the skin's performance by decreasing the build up of dead skin cells, thereby allowing fresher skin to surface.
  • With consistent use, pigmentation, acne, acne marks and scars are evened out.
  • There will be a visible difference in skin condition. As well as in its texture.
  • The skin looks cleaner and brighter.

How many sessions are required to see best results?

Pigmentation & Acne scar reduction requires multiple sittings. It takes about 8-10. However this depends on the level and extent of scarring and pigmentation. For best results, the dermatologist may recommend a combination of Peels and Pigmentation & Scar reduction or LASERs.

Sun-spots are an undesirable byproduct of excessive sun exposure. They are smooth, flat black/brown elevated patches on the skin.

Skin-tags are the small round or long growths on the skin that commonly appear on areas like the face, neck and arms.

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers are used for filling out lips, facial wrinkles and facial folds. The hyaluronic acid in these fillers is almost identical to that naturally found in the body. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement that is gentle and safe to your skin. Treatments are take approximately 30 minutes. Recovery time is minimal and most clients return to normal activities immediately. Results last about six months.

Problems with Aging, that can be treated with a filler

  • Glabellar lines (between the eyebrows)
  • Worry lines
  • Naso-labial folds (from the bottom of the nose to the corner of the mouth)
  • Lip sculpting / enhancement:
  • 1. receding lips
    2. bleeding lip lines (smoker’s lines)
  • Sagging cheek bones
  • Smile cheek creases
  • Marionette lines (jowls)

It is a safe and effective way to restore volume and fullness to the skin and to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that is found throughout your body. It gives volume to the skin, lubricates the joints and gives the eyes their shape. The hyaluronic acid in the filler used is stabilized for long duration and is not of animal or human origin.

It works by temporarily adding volume to facial tissue. The effect lasts for about 6 months. The filler maintains its shape using the body's own moisture. Hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic or "water loving." As hyaluronic acid gradually degrades, each molecule binds to more water and over time, the same volume can be maintained with less hyaluronic acid. This ability of hyaluronic acid to bind to water is what helps provide long-lasting results.

Fillers can be used to smooth folds and wrinkles, enhance lips and shape facial contours. The most common areas are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), the nasolabial folds (from the bottom of the nose to the corner of the mouth) and the lips, although other sites can also be treated.
