CT Scan
Or CAT Scan
A
"CT" or "CAT" scan is the term
used to describe a radio logic test known as "computerized
tomography." The CT scanner is a doughnut-shaped
machine that takes pictures of cross-sections of your
body.
CT can see inside the brain and
other parts of the body, into areas that cannot be
seen on regular x-ray examinations. CT makes it possible
to diagnose certain diseases earlier and more accurately
than with other imaging tools. Because most diseases
are better treated when found early, CT scans can
help save lives.
At AHMT we do CT Scans of the whole
body including CT scan of brain, neck, chest, abdomen
& pelvis, 3D CT scan for bones & CT Angiography
for blood vessels.
Highlights:
- Newer non-invasive perspectives in CT imaging
e.g. angiography of aorta/arteries in mid-brain.
- Excellent vascular enhancement due to bright vascular
pacification.
- Premier image quality for quicker diagnosis.
Patient Benefits:
- The most patient friendly CT scanning technique
available (entire liver or lung exam in single breath-hold).
- Maximum patient comfort due to minimum scanning
time.
- Low X-ray radiation for patient safety.
- Lower contrast dose with more safety
