Non - Invasive Treatments

Cosmetic surgery does not only involve surgical procedures, but also includes non-invasive treatments. To temporarily diminish the appearance of wrinkles there are:

Botox Injections

Our Cosmetic Surgeon is an advanced and basic BOTOX user and trainer.

Botox ® is a botulinum A toxin designed to help eliminate or improve persistent facial wrinkles. This non-surgical procedure commonly treats areas like frown lines between the eyebrows (worry lines), "crow's feet" (lines around the eyes), horizontal creases on the forehead, bunny lines around the nose through a number of tiny needle injections.

This brochure deals with the two most commonly used types of injectable fillers, hyaluronic acid (restylane, perlane, dermadeep, dermalive, esthelis, etc.) and fat. However, to a lesser extent, a number of other filler materials are also being used for facial-rejuvenation purposes. They include: Fibril, a gelatin powder compound that's mixed with a patient's own blood and is injected to plump up the skin (similar to injectable collagen); and Gortex, a thread-like material that is implanted beneath the skin to add soft-tissue support.

Each of these options has its own set of risks and benefits.

Facial rejuvenation is another form of cosmetic treatment

Laser Resurfacing

In laser skin resurfacing a laser is used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. The procedure is most commonly used to minimize the appearance of fine lines, especially around the mouth and the eyes. However, it is also effective in treating facial scars or areas of uneven pigmentation. Laser resurfacing may be performed on the whole face or in specific regions. Often, the procedure is done in conjunction with another cosmetic operation, such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.

A revolutionary non-surgical technique using radio frequency which produces heating of the deep dermis. Thermage can be used to tighten loose skin and wrinkles and may also improve complexion and acne.

Chemical Peel

Treatment that exfoliate the skin's top layers to reveal a softer and healthier skin. It is used to treat people prone to acne, damaged/hyper pigmented skin, due to environmental exposure. The strength of the treatment will depend on the individual's skin type and the degree of skin damage.
